What It Means To Have Faith

LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE

“So faith comes from hearing [what is told]…”

Romans 10:17 AMP

When it comes to faith, a lot of us may find it difficult to wrap our heads around the concept especially with the practical side of it. Professing faith is easier than actually implementing the concept. This divide occurs because we often miss the key component of this great concept.

Faith is very important to all life because it’s what the cosmos was built on and at a very fundamental level, the universe runs on faith. In business parlance, faith is regarded as risk. Now we all take risks in one form or the other. Take sitting on a chair for example. It’s the smallest risk everyone has taken several times. The faith proposition is that the chair won’t break or be moved as we sit on it. This has become so routine we often forget it’s a risk in the first place. Why do we then consider other risks more difficult to engage?

“We are twice armed if we fight with faith”

Plato

The difference is information. Remember, faith comes by hearing. With the chair, you have had enough experience to know that you’ll be fine. The key word here is know. Once you know and are confident in the outcome, faith is established and success follows suit. So, don’t allow fear to regulate your life, get the information you need to inspire belief in your own success and enjoy life to its fullest!
