As structural integrity is to a house, so is personal integrity to an individual. Without constantly ensuring that your personal integrity holds at all times and in all circumstances, your entire life could come crashing down right before your eyes.
There’re so many problems in this world such that to have fewer of them is technically a bargain. But life should not be weighed on who has more problems versus who has less. Life is beautiful and should be enjoyed to the fullest.
Receiving the King’s perfect gift for restoration is not complicated. You can receive him too. All you have to do is say an honest prayer to God and tell him you want Jesus Christ to come into your heart.
One of the reasons why I believe we need to be true to our desires is that they are acutely tied to our purpose in life. Yes! Following your desires can lead you towards realizing your purpose in life, and the quickest way to your true desires is to practice self-honesty, be completely honest with yourself.
On the surface, it looks plain and straightforward; however, behind these words lie a lot of information Jesus wanted his disciples to know and apply when they gathered to pray as a group or individually. I will point out four things this verse teaches and show why they are relevant today. Ready? Let’s get straight to it!
Earlier, we recognized the importance of food to our bodies. In its own way, food sustains life. As humans, we recognize this fact and make sure we are always fed. Our bodies are nourished, and we get strength from the food we eat to live and work. However, our physical relationship with food, is only a reminder of what our spiritual relationship with God and his word is supposed to be.
Each time we are faced with a new year, whether as an individual or a company, we tend to set targets that we want to reach by the end of the year. These resolutions we make are supposed to drive us and/or encourage us to overcome the internal or external limitations that will keep us from our goals. More often than not, we fail a few days into our resolutions for the year and this is not entirely because the resolutions by themselves are bad nor is it because the person setting them is weak. Usually, the simple reason is that our approach towards resolutions are wrong!I want to suggest a few things you can do that will actually help you make smart resolutions and see them through. These pointers have been helpful to me and I hope they help you too.
There’s a father in whom love prevails, always. We could argue today that the more we strayed away from the father, the closer he came. He searches for us, nurses us to health from sickness, prevents the devil from taking undue advantage of us, clothes us, gives rain and sun for food. All the while, working out his plan to restore us to our original position of authority and dominion.
